Every clinical situation is different. We will do everything possible to make you comfortable and keep you informed at every stage in your treatment. Prior to treatment, we will carefully evaluate your clinical situation and possible treatment needs. Basically, there are two types of appointments: A consultation appointment or a treatment appointment.
Many times, treatment can occur on the same day as the consultation. However, depending on the case complexity, your desires and scheduling availability, they may require separate appointments.
Your clinical evaluation will require a clinical examination and x-rays which may include a cone beam computed tomography (3D) depending on case complexity. Prior to any treatment you will be presented with the diagnosis, your clinical options, the risks of treatment if any, and possible alternatives. Treatment will only commence once you are informed fully and have given your consent.
When you call to schedule an appointment, we will be able to tell you if treatment can be started the same day or if a separate consult will be required. Every effort will be made to respect your time as we move through the treatment process.
